Summary: 82-0 does not require an account to play. Your drafted lineups, season outcomes, and personal records are stored locally on your device unless you choose to use Apple Game Center.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect or require your real name, email address, phone number, physical address, contacts, or precise GPS location to play the core single-player draft and simulation game.
2. On-Device Local Data
The following information is saved locally on your device via standard iOS secure storage:
- Current draft states, completed five-man rosters, and ratings.
- Simulated 82-game season win-loss records and box score logs.
- Dynasty save slots, personal historical records, and best runs.
- Gameplay audio and haptics preferences.
3. Apple Game Center
If you enable Apple Game Center, the app may transmit your high scores calculated as (Wins × 100) + (Chemistry × 10) to the global Apple Game Center leaderboard. Apple manages your Game Center profile, username, and friend achievements according to the Apple Privacy Policy.
4. In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)
The app offers optional subscriptions for advanced player and team analytics (Hoop Dynasty Pro). Financial transactions are processed exclusively by Apple via the App Store StoreKit framework. We integrate RevenueCat to validate subscription status and manage entitlements anonymously. We never receive or store your credit card numbers or banking information.
5. Advertising & Consent Management (Google AdMob / UMP)
Free versions of the app may display advertisements served by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). We utilize Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to comply with privacy frameworks (including GDPR, CCPA, and Apple's App Tracking Transparency):
- You are prompted for your advertising consent preferences where legally required.
- You can adjust or revoke your ad choices at any time inside the app via Settings → Privacy & Ad Choices.
- Non-personalized ads are served if tracking consent is denied.
6. Local Peer-to-Peer Multiplayer
When using local multiplayer, the app utilizes Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework over nearby Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Data transmitted is limited to draft spins and player picks between the two connected devices. No audio, video, or external network data is routed through third-party servers.
7. Children’s Privacy
82-0 is designed for general audiences and sports enthusiasts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
